Our courses do not provide university credit as they are designed for continuing professional development for regulated health care practitioners. Upon successful completion of de Souza courses, participants will receive a continuing education certificate with the name of the course and the number of learning hours. The learning hours can be used towards an Oncology or Palliative Care Specialty Certificate Renewal issued by the Canadian Nurses Association, or towards professional license renewal. The majority of our courses also provide credits towards a de Souza Designation.

Our Cancer Care Basics course also provides Canadian Nursing Association (CNA) credits. It meets the standards of quality for continuing professional development (CPD) in Canada.
